ABOUT BLOG

I can't remember exactly how I knew about blogs, but it all began in June 2006. I was learning web designing in college and found how easy it was to create blogs rather. It was online, free and predesigned. But what I misunderstood grossly was I took each blog equivalent to a page. Which is why I have just one post from 2006 to 2008. I spent all my time in creating new blogs- one for each post I ever wanted to post. I then went through the tedious edition of HTML page to link all the pages, and adding JavaScript codes.

My 12 blogs- Foolish!
I worked on twelve blogs until 2009 beginning, and then it dawned on me that just one blog is enough for all the posts I would ever want to publish. With some many hours invested on each blogs it took quite some time for me to let go.

Now with one blog I was so confused. I didn't know where to begin. And I had to spend another year adding and deleting the very first post on this blog. Therefore, what you are seeing in my first post is not actually from June 21 2006, it was changed many time.

In March 2009 I got the guts to publish my second post. And gradually I picked up pace and that year I had 59 articles published, much of them useless. It is only in 2010 that my blog finally took it's original theme and shape.  It is my online journal now. It is intended to keep record of my life and my times. Each post I make gives me satisfaction and I am hoping I will live forever through this blog.

  10. PaSsu,
Greetings from Paradise! That is Paradise, California, USA. I ran into your blog while looking for information on Bhutan. It's my dream to try to move there in a few years and reading you posts and looking at yours is very inspiring. It was neat to see your goal of reforming the education system there, My wife is a Special Education Teacher and I work as a Paraeducator and tutor, so we are always talking about it here too! In California, education is good but teaching approaches are often meddled with by politicians who change their idea on what good education is quite often. It really makes the teachers feel frustrated. People think teacher are lazy too, very little respect for the job here in America...Well I think as long as we are dedicated to honoring the spirt of learning in the kids..they will do well....
Hope you and your family are well,
    Brian

Nice to know a teacher from California is reading my blog. I am happy to know that you liked my goals. Teaching is not one of the best jobs in our country either, but I love it more each day. I have lots of option to choose from yet this is what I want all my life...

Its been few days ago, i started reading your blog. its really wonderful and interesting, you are doing a great job. i came to know your blog from one of my colleague in the office who spends most of his free times in reading different blogs. He suggested me to go through your blog. Anyway at my surprise, i found Mr. PaSsu Diary is one who we studied together in Paro Gaupey back in 1995&96. My name is Tshering Wangchuk and i am currently working for Dept. of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Home & Cultural Affairs. I am sure that you will not remember me by name but hopefully you will recognize me once we meet.

  29. Lately i read few books by Bhutanese author. I have heard a lot about sir. Several times on BBS live, kuensel, and more profoundly moved by your, toilet organisation. Once i visited DSB book store to check most awaited Robin sharmas 5 am club but before i could grasp my sight to 5 am club, i picked up Passu diary, i heard a lot about passu diary and chablop passang Tshering, having failed several times in the past in same book store to get passu dairy, that was time, i got book but two 5 am club and passu diary. Since then i was huge fan of yours sir. Your book is amazing and i wish you write more books! And i was inspired to creat my own blog, though i tried in the past during college days, but i had no ideas what was like blog until i read your book lately!
