Rising Star- Promote Little Tshering Dorji

Little Tshering Dorji is a fifth grader with magical voice. There are about five YouTube videos uploaded by pemajigs in last three days, and I couldn't help watching them over and over. The boy has that charm in his voice which I never felt in most Bhutanese singers. He is as good as those kids on SaReGaMaPa Lil Champs, only he needs some training and support.

If you haven't heard him yet, you won't believe me. Just watch the video and help him by spreading the words. Somewhere there may a musician who may invest in his voice and give us a singer who will pay us back with songs that could touch our souls. We must help him because he deserves it.

Update (2 Feb 2012): Tshering Dorji has found the stage with National Talent Hunt, and is winning the hearts of every Bhutanese with his seasoned voice on BBS 2. Like they say, he is going to Do Something!

  8. He is incredible and as noted, the little boy is disturbed by the outside voices. Interestingly, he maintains the noise and the sound of his own voice. Truly talented!

  11. Dear all, thanks for the well-wishes, and appreciations for the little boy.

Dear Chabda, I don't know the boy or his background. Pemajiggs- the guy who posted this video on YouTube may have some idea. If you could get him some support in the field of music, like linking him to the movie industry and giving him a chance may help. Thanks for coming forth.

  12. Hey Passu sir, the guy who posted this video is none other than one of the bloggers namely Pema Wangdi. I saw the boy a few times too. Pema is presently an assistant lecturer at Sherubtse College. If Chabda really is keen to help him, it won't be a tough task to contact the boy or Pema either. That would be a great help indeed.

  15. Hello PaSsu sir!

I hope its never too late to thank you for bringing this to your blog and generously promoting our little rising star Tshering Dorji, now the winner of National Talent Hunt. I want to convey on his behalf that he owes to you all for the great support shown throughout.

And thank you Langa Sir as well for kindly introducing me here. I should have done this long before, but what to say, lack of internet services kept me away.

Note: Haha, I am equally in a wonder as to why I chose to be Pemajigs in youtube. I will have to sit down and think....haha...anyways, once again thanks la!
